📜 Why are we catering nachos? 🔥🔥🔥 We thought you'd be surprised! 🤓 Nachos were invented in 1943 during World War II by Ignacio "Nacho" Anaya in a border town in Mexico. Faced with hungry American wives of WWII aviators, limited supplies, and a need for speed, he improvised using tortilla chips, melted cheese, and whatever fixings were on hand (jalapenos came first!). He created a fast, shareable, morale-boosting snack, and an instant hit in the Southwest. This checks off everything we wished for in our dance. And yes, we are leaving the cheese-melting to professional catering. We wouldn't want to spill the cheese. 😉 ✔ Works great in a hangar ✔ Perfect between dance sorties ✔ Excellent for sharing ✔ Historically appropriate Nachos cleared for takeoff! 🛫 If the thought of nachos and 1940's swing dancing sounds like your kind of night, grab your tickets now, and help us keep Post 8 flying. Won't you join us? 🕺💃
